Portable Hook - great for your OFFICE or CUBICLE too!

Whether you use headphones as part of the job, or to listen to music or cancel out noise while at your desk or cubicle - these foldable hooks are handy to hold up your headphones!

This was actually a clever idea by one of our very own customers, Olivia and her coworker Caitlin from NY!  These are pictures of how they put their foldable portable "purse hooks" to use as "headphone" hooks!   These portable hooks are handy for both styles of headphones!

Peruse all our portable foldable bag hooks in our Etsy shop!

New collaboration with Blue Squiggle: Funky Eco-Friendly Folk Art Earrings!

Here at MaJenta Designs we recently had an exciting new opportunity where our decorative gift tins were commissioned by another awesome Etsy seller, Blue Squiggle, as part of her new eye-popping earrings line!

These ultra light-weight and eco-friendly earrings are made from a durable plastic and the designs have been intricately drawn by hand that take over 2 hours to complete! Each item is truly one-of-a-kind!

Blue Squiggle gets her inspiration from pre-columbian and other folk art but bring a vibrant and fresh pop of color to each of her creations!

Not only does she make cool earrings inspired by ancient folk art, but she has some very funky and unique items that are great for any time of year, and is currently in the process of making a new line for Halloween inspirations! Be on the look out in her Etsy shop for the new Halloween items!

Science & Art in Washington DC

I recently took a trip to Washington DC. The nation's capital definitely is beaming with art, from museums housing portraits and American history icons, to even the architecture of their monuments. However, I enjoyed finding artwork in unexpected locations...like the Air and Space Museum.

My favorite unexpected finding, was this stained glass piece that displays the electromagnetic spectrum in the earth's atmosphere

The different colors symbolize different light rays, as well as how deeply the rays from space penetrate the earth. Below is the placard that explains further about each of the different color.
